Summary of the 2014 Deer Hunting Season. Had a great year of hunting, worked hard, saw deer, the last few days were getting tough to get out on the water. We were seeing and turned down a lot of 31/2 year old 6 and 8 with good genetics, will be ready next year. We had 20 hunters, 3 weeks of hunting 4 missed deer, 3 deer shot, a 8 and a 10, one deer shot we couldn’t find, we tracked for 4 hours according to the shooter it was a nice big body, rack deer. We saw a lot of nice deer on camera mainly at night. The rut was just starting towards the end of the hunt. Almost everyone re-booked for 2015 seeing the potential for next year.
