For anglers who want the comfort of a Muskie Bay stay without leaving their own rig at home. Lakeview lodging, direct dock launches to Lake of the Woods and Crow Lake, and full access to the lakeside patio, hot tub, sauna, and changing rooms.
Dinner is included the day of arrival, breakfast the day of departure. Add meals, rentals, or guide time à la carte.

If you already own the boat you like fishing from, there is no reason to rent ours. This package is lodging, meals at both ends of the trip and a dock to tie up to.
Muskie Bay sits on Crow Lake with a direct run through to Lake of the Woods, so a trailered boat gets you onto both systems without relaunching. Your rig stays at our dock for the week. Parking, launching and wharfage are included, and there is a bathroom and changing room right at the lake.
Most guests driving up from the United States cross at Fort Frances or Baudette and trailer in from there. Bring your registration, proof of ownership or insurance and your passport, and check the current Canada Border Services guidance on live bait and firewood before you leave, because those rules change.
Once you are here, you can keep it simple or add to it. Meals at the Lodge, guide time by the day and rentals for anyone in the group who did not bring a boat can all be added to the booking.
When to come, by species.
Ontario Zone 5 seasons, so you can time your trip around what you want to target. Confirm current regulations with the Ontario Ministry before you travel.
Pike and smallmouth are open all year here, walleye and muskie open in late May and June, and the fall muskie bite in September and October is what brings a lot of trailered boats north. In winter the dock closes but the fishing does not: see Ontario ice fishing.

What does the bring your own boat package include?
Lakeview lodging, dinner on the day you arrive and breakfast on the day you leave, dock and launch access with parking and wharfage on Crow Lake and Lake of the Woods, light maid service, and full use of the hot tub, sauna and fire pit patio. The rate is $242 USD per person per day. See the rates page for booking terms.
Can I add meals for the rest of the week?
Yes. Meals at the Lodge can be added, as can boat rentals and guide time. Ask Paul when you book so the kitchen can plan for your group.
Where do I launch and where does the boat stay?
You launch directly from our dock onto Crow Lake, with access through to Lake of the Woods. Parking for your truck and trailer, launching and wharfage are all included, and your boat stays at the dock for the week rather than being pulled every evening.
What do I need to bring a boat into Canada?
You cross at a land border with your boat on the trailer and report it to Canada Border Services like any other vehicle. Bring your registration, proof of ownership or insurance, and your passport. Rules on live bait, firewood and invasive species change, so check the current Canada Border Services and Ontario Ministry guidance before you travel. Is there anywhere to clean fish?
Yes, fish cleaning facilities are on site, along with a bathroom and changing room by the lake.
Can I add guide time if I am running my own boat?
Yes. Semi-guided support can be added by the day, where Jake runs his boat alongside yours and puts you on fish. It is a common way for guests who know their own rig but not these lakes to get up to speed quickly.
